Lossless current sensing conve rts the peak current signal to a voltage which is summed with the internal slope compensation. This summed signal is compared to Vc to provide a peak current control command for the PWM. The LTC1844 regulators incorporate several protection featureswhich make them idealfor use in batte ry-powered circuits. In addition to the usual protection features asso- ciated with monolithic regulators, such as current limiting and thermal limiting, the devices are protected against reverse inputvoltages and reverse voltagesfrom outputto input. |
