During normal operation, if Vcc voltage drops below 3.8V, the internal circuitry will go into power on reset again. The hysteresis helps decrease the noise sensitivity on the Vcc pin. After soft starts ends and during normal operation, if the converter output voltage exceeds 115% of the DAC output voltage, the LM2636 will lock into over voltage protection mode. The high side drive will be disabled, and the low side drive will be high. There are two ways to clear the mode. One is to cycle Vcc voltage once. The other is to toggle the OUTEN level. After the over voltage protection mode is cleared. the LM2636 will enter the soft start session and start
Note: 1. All blocks are protected at power-up, so the default configuration is 001 0r 101 according to WP status. 2. Current state and Next state gives the protection status of a block. The protection status is defined by the write protect pin and by DQl (= 1 for a locked block) and DQO (= 1 for a protected block) as read in the Autoselect instruction with Al = VIH and AO = VIL. 3. Next state is the protection status of a block after a Protect or Unprotect or Lock command has been issued or after WP has changed its_logic value. 4. A WP transition to VIH on a locked block will restore the previous DQO value, giving a 111 0r 110.
