The input supply must be above the minimum operating voltage, or under-voltage lockout threshold (VUVLO), for the charging sequence to begin. Also, the cell temperature, as reported by a thermistor connected to the Ts pin, must be within the proper window for safe charging. D ata Mem ory Interface T he data memory address bus (D MA) is 14 bits wide. T he bidirectional external data bus is 24 bits wide, with the upper 16 bits used for data memory data (D MD) transfers. T he data memory select (DMS) signalindicates access to data memory and can be used as a chip select signal. The write (WR) signal indicates a write operation and can be used as a write strobe. T he read (RD) signalindicates a read operation and can be used as a read strobe or output enable signal. |
