QG82915GM-QF84 on stock OPERATION - PROGRAM MODE The program mode of operation provides the functions of programming the identification and security match memory, and setting and reading the amount of time the TimeKey can be used. The block diagram in Figure 3 il- luslrates the main elements of the Time Key when used intheprogram mode.To iniliatetheprogram mode, RST is driven high and 24 bits are loaded int0 1he command register on each low-lo-high transition of the CLK input. The command register must match the exact bit pattern that defines the program mode for the identification and secu rity match bits or the program mode for setting and reading the amount of time for which the -[imeKey can be used. If an exact match for one oflhe seven function codes of the program mode is not found, the remainder of the program mode is ignored. When the command register is properly loaded for program ming the identifi- cation and security match bils, the next 1 28 bits are writ- ten to the identification and security match memory (Figure 4). When this mode of operation is invoked, all memory contents are erased.
