RNP20S Datasheet The Output pin (pin 8) is intended to be connected to a virtual ground node, so that current flowing in it may be converted to a voltage (see Figures 2 & 15J. Choose the external opamp for good audio performance. The feedback resistor should be chosen based on the de- sired current-to-voltage conversion constant. Since the input resistor determines the voltage-to-current conver- sion at the input, the familiar ratio of Rf/Ri for an invert- ing opamp will determine the overall voltage gain when the 2181 is set for o dB current gain. Since the VCA per- forms best at settings near unity gain, use the input and feedback resistors to provide design-center gain or loss, if necessary. RNP20S Price
RNP20S on stock Ceramic Capacitors Above 150 kHz the performance of aluminum electrolytic capacitors becomes less effective. To further improve the reflected input ripple current[2] or the output transient response, multilayer ceranuc capacitors can also be added. Ceramic capacitors have very low ESR and their resonant frequency is higher than the bandwidth of the regulator. When used on the output their combined ESR is not critical as long as the total value of ceramic capacitance does not exceed 300 pF. Also, to prevent the formation of local resonances, do not place more than five identical ce- ramic capacitors in parallel with values of 10 pF or greater.
