RP20-1212SE Price RSENSE Selection for Output Current The selection of RSENSE determines the output current limit, the maximum possible output current before the inte rnal cu rrent limit th reshold is reached. IOUT(MAX), the maximum specified output current in a design, must be less than ICL. With the current comparator monitoring the voltage developed across RSENSE, the threshold of the comparator determines the inductor's peak current.
