The PT6980 series ofregulators provide two output voltages, Voi and Voz. Each of the output voltage combinations offered by the PT6980 series provides power for both a low- voltage processor core, and the associated digital support circuitry. In addiuon, each output is internally sequenced during power-up and power-down to comply with the requirements ofmost DSP and pP IC's, and their accompa- nying chipsets. Figure l shows the typicalwaveforms of the output voltages, Voi and Voz, from the instance that either input power is applied or the module is enabled via the Standby pin. Following a delay of about 2 5 milli-secs, the voltages at Voi and Voz rise together until Voz reaches its set-point. Then Voi continues to rise until both output voltages have reached fullvoltage.
